We are a unit with a modern equipped workshop and a current team of four experienced skilled workers and one trainee. In our unit we manufacture single parts and assemblies for different areas of the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research.

The machining of smaller components is our strength - our high-precision machinery is designed accordingly. Here we use:

• a fiber laser
• a femtolaser
• 3- and 5-axis CNC milling machines and
• a CNC lathe

as well as several conventional turning, milling and drilling machines.

We offer the processing of component sizes at

• 3-axis machining of max. 400mm x 300mm x 300mm
• 5-axis machining max. 200mm x 200mm x 200mm and
• laser machining max. component size 200mm x 200mm - with a maximum material thickness of 2mm

Our range of services is available to the entire MPI for Intelligent Systems at both locations as well as the MPI for Solid State Research.
